JONALEE WHITE KICKS OFF NEW YEAR WITH WINTER NAMM PERFORMANCE
(Nashville, TN)… Country singer/songwriter Jonalee White will kick-off the New Year with a Saturday evening performance on the Taylor Guitar Stage at Winter NAMM trade show which takes place January 15-18 in Anaheim, California. Impressed by Jonalee’s energetic acoustic set in their display room at Summer NAMM in July, Taylor Guitars invited her to perform with her full band at Winter NAMM. Jonalee White has been endorsed by Taylor Guitars since 2006, initially catching the eye of the company as a finalist on NBC’s Star Tomorrow and CMT’s Music City Madness.

Jonalee White’s debut album, Wake Me (released on March 25, 2008 on Lick Records), produced three singles, Wake Me, I Break and Sunday Paper, which all broke Top 40 on the MusicRow CountryBreakOut™ Chart. Jonalee, who wrote nine of the thirteen songs on her debut, has begun working on a sophomore album -- the first single is scheduled to impact in late February.

2009 is going to be a busy year for Jonalee who will headline a 4 week Armed Forces Entertainment Tour of Europe, the Mediterranean and Middle East in the spring. Jonalee and her band will headline the AFE Tour which kicks off May 4th and will also include an opening act, a comedian and an NFL cheerleading squad. WAKE ME ALBUM REVIEW BY STETSON PROMOTIONS DECEMBER 2008

There are currently two types of female performers in the country music world. There are those that have a more girly girl feel and tend to be positive and upbeat with their songs, and then there are those that are a bit more edgy and aren’t afraid to talk about the darker sides of love and life. Jonalee White however, doesn’t fit into either side, but rather perfectly combines both sides of the female spectrum together and easily is going to catch your attention with her latest album “Wake Up.” Her modern poppy yet traditional brand of country music hits your from the get go as the album opens with “Sunday Paper,” and instantly captures your attention with her outstanding vocal and edgy lyrics that tells a past lover to basically shove it because she doesn’t want to hear his excuses anymore. She continues to display the edge in her lyrics as you begin to work your way through the album on tracks like “Husband #2” and the Phil Everly penned Linda Ronstadt hit “When Will I Be Loved.” But Jonalee White isn’t all about tongue and cheek lyrics as she also proves that she can write a tug at your heart song with realness and relatability. On a track like “Without You Tonight,” she faces the harsh realities of what it actually takes to make it in the music industry and faces what has to be left behind to do so. Nathan Whitt/ Chris Lute Perform a Duo Series at Richard Noggins
This dynamic duo had a blast playing Thursdays at “the Nogg”. Every other Thursday from October to December, Whitt and Lute played a series of low-key shows known by the guys as “a gentleman's evening.” These two musicians reeled off covers ranging from Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and so on. If you caught any of these shows, you heard the guys go deep into the playbook and you could tell they were having a great time. We hope there is more to come!
